About Vertex
Built up in Colne since 2017.
Vertex Roofing Group was founded in 2017 by Brendan O'Hanlon, who brings 25 years of hands-on roofing experience. What started as a small operation has grown steadily into a team of six skilled roofers.
Our focus is full roof replacements, done once, done right, and built to last. We also install solar panels, fit flat roofs, and carry out repairs, lead work and chimney work for homeowners and landlords across the North.

How much does a new roof cost?
Every roof is different, so we don't publish set prices. We inspect your roof properly first and give you an accurate written quote. If we uncover something unexpected once work begins, such as rotten timbers, we'll show you and talk it through before anything changes.
What guarantee do I get?
Full roof replacements come with a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee. Flat roofs carry a 25-year manufacturer product guarantee. Repairs are not covered by the same guarantee, and we'll always be upfront about that when quoting.
How do payments work?
Payments are staged so you never pay too far ahead: 25% to book, 25% when materials and scaffolding arrive, 25% at the halfway point, and the final 25% on completion and sign-off.
Do you deal with building control?
Yes. Every roof replacement is carried out in line with, and overseen by, local building control. For chimney work we handle the building control sign-off ourselves, so you don't have to.
