Our story
Vertex Roofing Group was founded in 2017 by Brendan O'Hanlon, who has 25 years of roofing experience. Today we're a team of six, based at 5 Emmott Court in Colne.
We help homeowners and landlords whose roofs have come to the end of their life, or who are tired of paying for repair after repair. Our main work is full roof replacements and solar panel installation, alongside repairs, flat roofing, lead work and chimney work.
We cover Lancashire, Yorkshire, Kendal and the Lake District: from Colne, Burnley and Clitheroe to Skipton, Leeds and Lancaster. See all the areas we cover.
What our customers get is simple: a roof done properly the first time, clear communication, and an honest price.
Our standards
Quality
Full replacements are stripped back to the rafters, with timbers checked and new membrane and battens fitted. Every replacement is overseen by local building control, and every new roof includes a free loft insulation top-up.
Honest service
We never publish prices because every roof is different. You get an accurate quote after a proper inspection, and payments are made in four stages: 25% to book, 25% on materials and scaffolding, 25% at halfway and 25% on completion.
Guarantees
Full roof replacements carry a 10-year insurance-backed guarantee. Flat roofs carry a 25-year manufacturer product guarantee. Repairs are not guaranteed, and we'll always tell you that up front. We carry £5m public liability and employer's liability insurance.
